Online calendar of US holidays - Mixtura - 03-18-2025
I plan to go to New York, it will be my first trip to the USA. I would not want to go on a public holiday, because I think that at that time the hotel prices are higher and there are more tourists on the streets. Where can I see the calendar of holidays in the United States so that I don't book a hotel at inflated prices?

You can't save much on housing in New York
But there are really more people on the streets on such days. I saw such a calendar on the timesles website, here's the link https://timesles.com/en/ . My life hack is that when I want to book an accommodation, I find it on Booking, then look for the hotel's phone number (usually they are on WhatsApp), call and ask for a discount. It often works. Are you just a tourist or is it a business trip? If it's just a tourist, my favorite time to visit New York is in the fall.
