Upload FTP Backups With Unstable Internet - McElroyChef - 12-02-2025 The problem is my internet connection cuts out all the time, and any manual upload just fails halfway through. I’ve already tried downloading parts of the backup first, but that’s not really an option with the file sizes I’m dealing with. I’m hoping there’s a smarter way to handle this without babysitting the transfer for hours. Has anyone found something that works better on an unstable connection? RE: Upload FTP Backups With Unstable Internet - KieleBroflovski - 12-02-2025 I had the same nightmare when I was doing an ftp upload to google drive https://mac.eltima.com/ftp-to-google-drive/ for a client with terrible Wi-Fi. What actually saved me was a method I found it let me connect both the FTP server and Google Drive directly in Finder, so the transfers didn’t rely on a continuous browser upload. The process handled disconnects way better, and I didn’t have to restart from zero every time the connection dropped. It felt a lot more stable than anything I tried before.
