Tools for scheduling social media posts - Maddev - 02-08-2026
I've taken over running my company's social media myself. Tried letting an employee handle it, but posts were irregular and pretty bland, not engaging at all. I'll create the content myself, but I want to automate the posting so I don't forget to publish stuff at the right times. What's the best way to do this? Are there software or services that handle scheduling?

Main thing to watch for is whether the tool supports native posting or just shares links. Native posts get way better reach on most platforms. Also check if it handles different formats properly, like Instagram carousels or Twitter threads. Some schedulers butcher formatting and you end up fixing everything manually anyway.

Cross-posting saves a ton of time when you're managing multiple accounts. You can adapt one piece of content for different platforms instead of starting from scratch each time. There's a service that lets you post to all social media at once: https://adaptlypost.com/features/multi-posting . You can customize the same post for each network's style, then push it out everywhere in one go instead of logging into each platform separately.
