I recently switched to macOS and am trying to set up OneDrive so it appears directly in Finder, like a regular folder or drive. Please share your experience: how did you add OneDrive to Finder—automatically after installing the app, or did you have to configure it manually through system settings?

I recently faced the same challenge after switching to macOS and wanted OneDrive to appear seamlessly in Finder, just like any other folder. At first, I assumed it would set up automatically after installing the official OneDrive app, but I realized there were some additional steps to make it fully integrated. What really helped me was using CloudMounter — it’s a fantastic tool that connects cloud storage services directly to Finder without complicated workarounds. After installing CloudMounter from the App Store, I could add onedrive to mac finder. And it instantly appeared as a mounted drive in Finder.
