How can I easily migrate all my Lotus Notes emails to a new Outlook account?
#1
Hello,
Migrating from Lotus Notes to Outlook is a common task, but it can be tricky because the platforms use different file formats. Lotus Notes stores all its data (emails, contacts, calendars, etc.) in an NSF (Notes Storage Facility) file, while Outlook uses a PST (Personal Storage Table) file. You can't directly import an NSF file into Outlook.
The most reliable and straightforward solution is to use a professional converter tool. I've had great success with the eSoftTools NSF to PST Converter Software.
It's designed specifically for this purpose and makes the process incredibly simple. Here’s why I recommend it:
  • Direct & Complete Conversion: It converts the entire NSF mailbox—including emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, tasks, and journals—into a PST file that Outlook can easily import.
  • Maintains Data Integrity: You don't have to worry about losing important information. The software preserves the original folder structure and all the email metadata, such as To, Cc, Bcc, Subject, Sender/Receiver details, and timestamps.
  • No File Size Limitation: Whether your NSF file is small or several gigabytes large, the tool can handle it without any performance issues.
  • Batch Conversion: If you have multiple NSF files to migrate, you can convert them all in a single operation, which is a massive time-saver.
They offer a free demo version on their website, which lets you convert and save up to 25 items from each folder. It's a great way to test its capabilities and see for yourself how well it works before committing.
Hope this helps you make a smooth transition to Outlook!

To migrate your Lotus Notes emails to Outlook, you can utilize a tool like TrustVare NSF to PST Converter. The first step is to install the software. After opening the NSF file (your Lotus Notes mailbox), choose the one you want to convert. The application will show all of the emails and data included in the file after scanning it. After choosing PST as the output format, the conversion process can start. In this way, your new Outlook account will automatically display all of your Lotus Notes emails. Technical and non-technical users can use it easily. And you can try the free demo version to test its features.
