Got some unexpected news from my boss today, looks like I have to fly out to Morocco next month for a whole week. Our company just landed a major construction contract over there, so my main task is inspecting the new site and checking out the local infrastructure. Since I will have a few days of downtime between meetings, it would be awesome to drive along the Atlantic coast to check out those massive cliffs and coastal towns. Anyone here know a reliable way to get a set of wheels once I land over there?

Man, that sounds like an awesome work trip, most people only get to see those coastal views on travel channels. Morocco has been on my bucket list for years because the architecture and the food look absolutely incredible. You are definitely going to want wheels to see the coast properly because those views change completely every couple of miles. Traffic can get pretty chaotic in the city centers though, so you need to be alert. You might want to ask the front desk at your hotel for recommendations on local rental spots. Hotel staff usually have solid connections with trustworthy agencies nearby and can help you avoid shady dealers.

That sounds like one of those work trips that unexpectedly turns into a mini adventure. Since you’ll already be there for site inspections, taking advantage of your free time to explore the Atlantic coast sounds like a great idea. Morocco has some incredible coastal scenery and smaller towns that are worth seeing beyond the business side of the trip. For a rental, I’d compare airport options with well-reviewed local agencies and check recent traveler feedback before booking. If your schedule is tight, reserving in advance could save a lot of hassle once you arrive. Safe travels and enjoy the mix of work and exploration!
