Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone here has gone through the online nikah in Karachi recently? I'm trying to help a cousin who’s overseas and wants to do nikah online since traveling right now isn’t an option for him.
I’ve heard it's legally valid in Pakistan if done properly with a registered Nikah Khawan and proper documentation. But I’m a little confused about how the process actually works, especially when one or both people are not physically present. Do both parties need to be online at the same time? What about witnesses?
Would really appreciate your thoughts or experiences if you’ve gone through online nikah — especially in Karachi.
