Best Way to Upgrade Old PST Files to Latest Outlook Versions

I have several old PST files that were created in earlier versions of Outlook (like 2003 and 2007), and I am now using the latest Outlook version on Windows 11. When I try to open these old PST files, sometimes Outlook gives compatibility warnings or does not load them properly. Can anyone guide me on the best and safest way to upgrade or convert old PST files so they work smoothly in the latest Outlook versions (2016, 2019, or 2021)?
