I'm new to Minecraft and excited to start playing. I've seen there are a few different versions, but I specifically want the original Java Edition. I’m a bit confused about the right steps to download Minecraft Java Edition safely and officially.
Should I go through Mojang or is it now all handled by Microsoft? Also, are there any things I should watch out for during installation or setup on Windows 11? Any help or tips from experienced players would be greatly appreciated.
